Cherri Voncelle first hit your TV screens in a 'cameo' role in her aunt Mica Paris' debut single "One Temptation". Playing a young Mica at age five, she grew to share the same love and passion for music as many of her family members... being raised to attend her local pentecostal church every Sunday. Both influences of soul and gospel played a big part in her growing vocal style...

As a toddler, she was nicknamed "Miss Prim" by her grandmother for the way she used to gyrate or as they say "wine up" to the music in her diapers. So, many years later when Cherri worked as a professional dancer on projects including Channel 4's "FLAVA" TV series and UK tour, pop promos for artists including Westlife and Robbie Williams, and the first UK promo tour for Ms. Dynamite, she was not surprised.

Cherri attended the B.R.I.T School of Performing Arts and believed this was one of the best grooming grounds for the industry. As a student, her mind was opened up to the creative musical talent she was blessed with...

Songwriting, performing and recording her own material, had become all she had wanted to do... passionate and ever-ready...

In 2006, Cherri became 1/3 of the girl group TRINITY STONE, who were signed to SONY/BMG. The group soon disbanded, but Cherri was fortunate enough to travel many places across the globe and learn SO much about the industry, allowing her to discover where she could NOW hold a spot in it!

Knowing that she has a strong R&B vocal style she wanted to fuse this with something a little unexpected, hence her self-penned song "Tell Me Something". There's a lot more to come from the singing/songwriting talent that is Ms. Cherri V so stay close
